Steve Robb  has been an valuable member of the music scene west of Boston since the dawn of the new century, fronting a number of bands and hosting a variety of inspiring musical events, including open mics, concerts, singer-songwriter events, and hosting a podcast called Song Creating.

 

In 2021 he released his self produced original full length album entitled 'Cabin Fever’ under his own name, and produced a combination live and studio album entitled 'One Day One Dream' with his beach vibe band Sway Island in 2022.  His 2023 release, 'Snapshot' matches his singer/songwriter ethos with catchy rockers, metaphor laden blues and blue grass, and even more island vibe sounds. 

 

A songwriter since high school years, Steve was studying the songs of Dan Fogelberg and James Taylor at the same time that he was those of John Coltrane and the American Songbook. That diversity shows in his music, and he honors many styles in his writing and recording, from Country to Blues, Roots to Reggae, Folk to Rock. Not one to settle on just 3 chords (TRUTH!), his songs often venture to the unexpected, if not the unconventional.
